FSE Sponsors Real Essex Ale At Braintree Beer Festival

The Freelance SEO Essex team took a little time out this month to enjoy the Braintree Beer Festival, which took place at the Bocking Arts Theatre between 12th and 14th June.

When organisers approached us with the opportunity to sponsor a drink, we jumped at the chance to support a small but popular local event. We were asked to choose from a number of different locally brewed beers and, as an office full of Ian Dury fans, ‘Billericay Dickie’ really jumped out at us. After sampling it at the Festival we’re particularly glad to be associated with such a great tasting amber bitter – it’s heavy enough to satisfy those who like beers with body, but refreshing enough to complement the great weather we had over that particular weekend!

The team at Billericay Brewing have only been operating their own brewery for just over a year, but that hasn’t prevented them from making their mark on the local ale scene. Their six beers (Billericay Blonde, Billericay Zeppelin, Mayflower Gold, A Mild With No Name and Chapel Street Porter in addition to Billericay Dickie) are now available at a select number of pubs in the local area and can be bought from the Essex Beer Shop on Chapel Street.

The company will be supplying its different beers to a variety of local Essex pubs and beer festivals this summer. Find Billericay Brewing’s creations at the Billericay Lions from 27th to 29th June, Chelmsford’s CAMRA Beer Festival from 15th to 19th July, and Brentwood’s Beer Festival from 18th to 20th July.
