The Essex Smile Centre are a leading referral clinic for advanced dentistry treatments, including dental implants, endodontics and gum disease, and first opened in 1968 as Church View Dental Care. When new owners took over the practice many years later, they quickly realised the Essex market was becoming extremely competitive, and hired Freelance SEO Essex to move their Google rankings forward and drive more enquiries for services such as implants and invisalign.

Freelance SEO Essex carried out extensive keyword research to understand those terms with the most search traffic which were locally relevant to the company, and those which were most likely to lead to enquiries for the client.

Our strategy was focused around these keywords which included terms like veneers, composite bonding, dental implants and Invisalign. Technical SEO was addressed at the outset of the campaign, resolving errors and optimising the client’s search console. Content was refreshed on the services pages and home page, as well as adding FAQs. We also built out specific location based pages to target local searches.

We created a programme of blogs and news articles, improving internal linking for better SEO. Additionally, we carried out an external link building campaign to boost core search terms and enhance domain authority.

The client’s website was outdated and slow, requiring significant improvement in terms of SEO, User Experience and aesthetics. Working in partnership with their website development company, we helped them rebuild the site in 2019 with SEO in mind, providing a site audit, health check, website migration checklist, and our recommendations for best practice for usability and conversions.

We continue to work with the client to maintain their SEO and improve their rankings further, solidifying their strong positions on the 1st and 2nd pages of Google.
