To show you (the client) how to provide a your digital agency with access to your Google Analytics account using their ‘analytics profile email address’.
You Will Need:
》Google analytics installed, verified & working on your website
》The analytics email address of the person or agency you would like to grant access to
Important Information:
We recommend giving your Agency ‘Account Edit’ permissions, so that they can perform necessary Analytics functions like Goal-setting and Filtering between views. Filtering is necessary for testing those goals on a separate view rather than them appearing with your customers’ analytics data.
Steps:
》Visit your Analytics Account. For this example we will visit the Account ‘Demo Analytics’.
》Under the column ‘Account’, click ‘User Management’.
》On the upper-left hand corner, click the ‘+’ button.
》Type the agency’s email address in the textbox.
》And just under in the Permissions box, enable the ‘Edit’ permission. You’ll notice that you don’t need to let the agency ‘manage users’.
》You may tick the box ‘Notify this user by email’.
》Finally, click the button ‘Add’ on the upper-left hand corner.
》Complete! The agency is now added to your analytics Account.
